THE DESIGN

I see blurred lines everywhere.

The once defined lines surrounding interior design and its varying styles and theoretical foundations are tenuous now. They are like an eroding coastline, one that allows the waters of all to intermingle.

The boundaries between opposing aesthetics have faded and become more fluid.

The word timeless has taken on a broader meaning.

In addition to something standing the test of time, timeless infers that our artistic expressions are no longer predetermined by the hard and fast rules once imposed upon them. We now push against the limitations that formerly allowed the passage of time to dictate our creative output, our personal aesthetics, our ideas, our values. We are finding a collective, expanded and increasingly inspired voice, making our ideas and dialogue richer than ever before.

To me these blurred lines are anything but…

They evoke in me a clarity of creative vision that is exciting and one I feel compelled to share through my design work and other expressive endeavors. This clarity, borne of a love of the limitless and unbound process of discovery, feeds my creative ethos with endless ideas for bringing good design, beauty, comfort, originality and functionality to your home or work space.
